Hi, I’m Yesenia — a mompreneur, home baker, artist, and inspired content creator.

HolidayCookieCo. began with a single cookie recipe and a deep desire to create something meaningful. What started as a creative outlet during my beginning stages of motherhood slowly transformed into the online cookie shop tradition it is today; shaped by community, purpose, and belief.

I’m a proud bilingual Latina, born to parents who broke generational barriers so their children could have opportunities they never had. As a first–second generation American, I carry both their sacrifices and their dreams with me in everything I build. Their resilience shaped my work ethic, my values, and my desire to create something lasting.

I hold a degree in Criminal Justice from Sacramento State and spent over 15 years in hospitality, sales, and business administration. Yet, despite my experience, I often felt I never quite fit the mold of traditional corporate spaces. Becoming a mother at 30 shifted everything — it awakened a deeper belief in myself and a fierce desire to model courage, creativity, and independence for my two daughters.

What began as baking for comfort and mental well-being became a form of healing, expression, and purpose. Through creativity, I found confidence. Through consistency, I found direction. And through community, I found belonging.

HolidayCookieCo. was never just about cookies — it’s about turning something small into something meaningful. It’s about choosing faith over fear, creating beauty from uncertainty, and honoring the journey it takes to build something from the heart.
